Bengaluru : Zee Kannada Music Awards, a first of its kind music awards show on entertainment channel Zee Kannada, is a tribute to the talent of the Kannada Music Industry. This mega event will have the presence of who’s who from the film and music fraternity

Zee Kannada Music Awards comprises of 4 categories and 30 different awards and it would be presented in this mega event which are Best Category, Special Category, Honoring category and popular category, of which public have casted their valuable votes for the popular category through SMS and online voting.
The other three categories were shortlisted by the eminent Jury panel consisting of S Narayan, Nanditha, K S L Swamy and M D Pallavi, the winners will be declared in the prestigious Zee Kannada Music Awards.
The whole process of Zee Kannada Music Awards began with the nominations followed by SMS & online voting which leads to the grand red carpet entry and then on to the extravagant event.
This splendid event will reveal the final 30 contestants and Zee Kannada will also reveal the judges of the reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs Season 10 that will be commencing shortly.
The Grand event of Zee Kannada Music Awards will be held on 7th July evening at a city auditorium in Bangalore. The televised event will be aired on Zee Kannada at a later date.
The new Music Awards franchise will be an addition to the list of annual award franchises of Zee Kannada and likely to grow stronger in future. Zee Kannada has positioned itself a strong no. 2 channel in Kannada GEC space, which was hovering in the bottom of the chart two years before.
