China and India show the biggest thirst for adopting internet of things technology, according to a new survey by Forrester.

The survey found that the ripest opportunities for internet of things are in China and India, where 30 per cent of respondents say they are already using the technology and 45 per cent say they are planning to.
Forrester suggests that internet of things – where ordinary appliances will be connected to the internet – will improve the digital customer experience, but geographical differences show that companies in North America and Europe are more skeptical of its usefulness than Asia’s two most influential markets.
However, the appetite for internet of things tech is lower in the media and entertainment sector than other industry, the survey by Forrester found.
