Brands celebrate the ‘nok-jhoks’ of siblings with endearing campaigns: Raksha Bandhan 2022

Raksha Bandhan depicts the love and affection among the siblings in all phases of life. Though the times have changed and it’s no more the brother supporting and protecting the sister but it’s mutual.  

Brands have also contributed with their brilliant campaigns to appreciate the siblings chemistry.  

Featured brands are Kinder Joy, MIA by Tanishq, Bvlgari, Humanitive, Caratlane, Dance with Madhuri, Bausch+Lomb, Future Generali India Life Insurance, Maspar, SBI General.

Kinder Joy

Kinder Joy, the flagship brand of Ferrero India, has launched exciting, fun-filled edutainment platform, ‘Kinder Digital Hub’ for kids to promote the significance of the festival.

On scanning the QR code on the exclusive Rakhi share pack or logging on to kinder.com the children will have access to the Kinder digital hub that will unravel the magical world of Kinder and will take them on an adventure with the protagonists Ki & Jo, the cartoon characters exclusively created for this special occasion. Through the entire edutainment journey, the kids will be able to navigate through an exciting new world of stories, games and filters – all inspired by the traditions based on Raksha Bandhan.  

MIA by Tanishq

On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, MIA by Tanishq has released a range of beautiful exclusive silver rakhi collection called ‘Shades of Bhai’, designed for a variety of different types of sibling bonds across India.

The collection comes in five different types of rakhis –  Adventure Bhai (the compass rakhi),  Padhaku bhai (oxygen Rakhi),  Hero Bhai (dumbbell rakhi), Masti bhai (masti rakhi), Classic Bhai (bhai rakhi), each with its own fun and quirky styling to celebrate the eternal bonds and give people a lot of choices to choose what suits them. A sibling bond is inseparable and stands the test of time through good or bad, and to celebrate this lifelong bond, the ‘Shades of Bhai’ collection is the perfect gift.

Bvlgari

Bvlgari has unveiled a new Rakhi campaign with sibling-duo, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. The heart of this campaign lies in highlighting and celebrating the bond and love shared between siblings, and how the festival of Rakhi is the perfect occasion to give your sibling a token of affection and appreciation by Bvlgari.

In this cheerful video, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor share their love for each other through a playful and light-hearted conversation, which concludes with the duo gifting each other a symbol of the protective relationship they share, with Bvlgari.

Humanitive

Humanitive India marks Raksha Bandhan 2022 with the launch of their latest ad campaign, #CelebrateEverySister across their social media platforms. The company also adds sparkle to the festivities by offering eCommerce exclusive gift boxes, blurring geographical boundaries and bringing siblings closer and stronger together.

The new ad beautifully captures the playful relationship between a brother and sister, in which the sister asks her brother to get her a beautiful gift this year. When she later inquires about the gift, he greets her with a Humanitive-meaningful gift.

CaratLane

CaratLane, launched a campaign celebrating the different unique bonds that siblings share, on the occasion of Rakhi. This campaign is built on the brand’s strategy to identify the more micro reasons or occasions within the larger gifting contexts.

CaratLane has known from multiple customer stories that rakhi is special to different siblings for different reasons. They could be in different countries, they could be sisters or they could be celebrating Rakhi together for the first time. In such highly emotional contexts, the brother or the sister want their sibling to feel on top of the world, making jewellery even more integral to the gifting thought.

 

Dance With Madhuri

Every year, Dance With Madhuri creates a one-of-a-kind campaign to thank its users on the occasion of Raksha Badhan. With schools and colleges reopening, a lot of people move out to pursue their education, work etc, and are not able to spend Raksha Bandhan with their loved ones. To overcome this, Dance With Madhuri has launched a unique campaign #NeverApart for everyone and the campaign will stay live till 11th August 2022.

The #NeverApart campaign lets you send your love and gifts no matter how far apart you are. All you have to do is fill out simple details about your sibling on the Dance With Madhuri campaign page. Dance With Madhuri will create a personalized message based on your preferences for your loved ones. Apart from the video message the recipients also receive a free one-month all-inclusive subscription to India’s pioneer Online dance platform Dance With Madhuri.

Future Generali India Life Insurance

Future Generali India Life Insurance has launched its fresh 360-degree campaign on the festive occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

This campaign re-establishes the core of trust and bond between close relationships which goes beyond being siblings. The ‘father’ is the protagonist who can also be as loving, caring, and fun-filled as a brother in a sibling relationship. The script beautifully captures a twist with an emotional realisation by a daughter who understands that her father plays all the roles of a brother. She changes from complaining about not having a sibling to accepting her father as her best friend and her protector thus convincingly tying the bond of trust, the rakhi to her father instead.

 Maspar

Maspar celebrates the fabric of sibling life with #MomentsOfMischief this Rakshabandhan! It wanted to reflect on the sweet and sour relationship between siblings, which is a universal truth and resonates well with its audience, staying contextually relevant during the festival and leveraging the opportunity to project it as a Raksha Bandhan gifting option.

With the help of a digital film that directly connects to the emotions of siblings, Maspar launched its Rakshabandan campaign, driving home the message.

SBI General

#BandhanBharoseKa depicts the beautiful relationship of trust and love shared between two siblings from their childhood till they become adults.

The video film created by Tonic Worldwide is full of moments where the sister’s love and protection for her brother shines through. Be it consoling him after a bad academic result, or motivating him for the upcoming interview, the elder sister acts like a dependable rock throughout his life.

The twist in the tale occurs when the Raksha bandhan rakhi is tied by the brother instead, a heartfelt gesture that showcases his love for his sister for protecting him throughout his life.

Hashtag Orange:

Hashtag Orange had introduced a Facebook specific campaign #UnmissableRakhi yesterday, a one-of-its-kind Rakhi equipped with Augmented Reality (AR) filter to express the special bond between siblings virtually.
