Apptile launches Face AI Technology to transform the mobile shopping experience

MUMBAI: Apptile, a no-code mobile app platform, today announced the launch of its Face AI technology. This is a solution that transforms how consumers discover and purchase personalised products through mobile apps. Face AI utilizes advanced facial scanning and analysis to provide users with tailored recommendations based on their unique characteristics and needs.

By analysing individual facial features—such as skin tone, texture, and structure—Face AI delivers product recommendations, enhancing user confidence in purchasing decisions. This technology aims to bridge the gap between in-store consultations and online shopping, offering a personalised experience that fosters trust and reduces the trial-and-error often associated with beauty and personal care purchases.

The technology has already shown impressive results with brands like K-ippun Haru, a Europe-based Korean beauty and personal care retailer. Within the first 45 days of implementing Face AI, the feature generated up to 27% of total revenue. The feature also achieved over 75% user engagement rates, demonstrating strong consumer demand for personalized recommendations, with users averaging 4 photo uploads for AI analysis.
