Brands stir up the spirit of freedom and patriotism through Republic Day Campaigns

On the occasion of 73rd Republic Day, from social media posts to television commercials brands have launched a series of campaigns to celebrate the spirit of patriotism. Certain brands have rolled out exclusive offers to the retired Army, Navy, Airforce, Police and Judiciary personnel for their commitment and sacrifice to the nation.

Parle

Parle Products celebrated the spirit of a sovereign India in its Republic Day film. Tracing the journey of their flagship brand Parle -G, the film depicts the journey of the homegrown brand as the country evolved from penning the history with its independence movement to the present era of new normal, over a span of 7 decades.

Mayank Shah, Senior Category Head at Parle Products said, “Just as Parle Products stands for a swadeshi brand, our brand Parle-G is often referred to as ‘Desh Ka Apna Biscuit.’ We feel extremely proud and fortunate to be a part of India’s journey from pre-Independence time to the present day. The film carries a degree of nostalgia as important events from the past play out in front of viewers. Just as the country crossed milestones over the years, so did Parle Products and gradually Parle-G has retained itself as the go-to product when one thinks of a biscuit.”

Godrej Group

On the occasion of India’s 73rd Republic Day, Godrej Group has unveiled a rendition of the inspirational song Hoga Kamyab – The Bharat Hoga Kamyab Anthem. The music video released by Godrej Group features frontline workers such as a doctor, nurse, police official, delivery executive, home visit technician (Phlebotomist), security guard, ambulance driver, milkman, municipal body and NGO executives. The film also features individuals who took up unique initiatives for the well-being of citizens as we dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Finserv Markets (Bajaj Finserv Initiative)

Finserv Markets’ Republic Day video has a strong underlying social message of how people of our nation showcased solidarity during the challenging phase of this pandemic and continue to fight together to keep the nation going and keep building on.

Pepperfry 

Pepperfry- furniture and home products marketplace has joined hands with Atypical Advantage to celebrate Freedom for All, this Republic Day. Atypical Advantage is India’s largest Inclusive platform that generates livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities. To encourage a creative outlook and showcasing of unity in Diversity, Pepperfry has invited 10 differently-abled artists from 10 cities across India to paint their perspective of freedom using Pepperfry Studio’s facade as their blank canvas.

Each of them through their respective artworks created masterpieces to commence India’s 73rd Republic Day. Spreading the joy of inclusion, Pepperfry hosted this event at 88 Studios across markets like Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, etc. in the country.

Commenting on this partnership, Saloni Khosla, Head-Spatial Design, Pepperfry said, “For art to leave a mark, talent is a prerequisite and our partnership with Atypical Advantage is sure to bring about a wind of change in the field of Indian art. With this campaign, we intend to provide the differently-abled artists with an opportunity to showcase their stellar artwork by adding a touch of colour and vibrancy to our Pepperfry stores across the country. Going forward, we plan to introduce the fine creations of these artists to our consumers by bringing them on-board as our partners.”

NFTically 

NFTically- India’s NFT marketplace creator has joined hands with altiusDAO for an upcoming drop featuring NFTs of the legendary Indian sprinter, Milkha Singh. The drop, in association with Polygon Studios, is backed by NFTically’s cutting edge technology and is set to go Live this Republic Day to honour the country’s very own Flying Sikh. The ‘Milkha Singh’ collectables will feature rare and exclusive NFTs, across SuperRare, Rare and Champion Collections and Free Airdrops of the athlete’s sporting life.

Talking about the collaboration, Toshendra Sharma, Founder and CEO, NFTically said, “NFTically is tremendously proud of this partnership with altiusDAO. We are certain that the Milkha Singh drop will be a turning point in showcasing how the sports industry can leverage NFTs in India. Picsart

Picsart has launched a series of special features to mark the Republic Day celebration. The app which is also available in multiple Indian languages is currently offering these features and can be downloaded from both the Apple and Google Play stores.

The special features that include India-centric backgrounds, stickers, fonts, and unique replays will allow users to create Republic Day wishing posts/ videos and let them explore their creativity in the digital world. As India celebrates this Mahotsav, Picsart is also looking at empowering small businesses in India to create their own customized Republic Day ads to boost their businesses.

Canara HSBC OBC Life Insurance has kicked off the digital campaign #GarvSeJeeyo on the occasion of Republic Day 2022. Built around its latest offering Guaranteed Suraksha Kavach (GSK) – the digital campaign puts a spotlight on India’s brave soldiers and honours them for their selfless services. A digital media campaign features retired officers from the Indian Armed Forces and salutes them for their exemplary contribution.
