BARC Week 51 & 52: Star Plus tops Hindi GEC (Urban+Rural) while Colors leads the Urban HSM

BARC Week 51 & 52: Star Plus tops Hindi GEC (Urban+Rural) while Colors leads the Urban HSM

BARC India data for week 51 & 52 shows no sudden change in the rankings of the Top 10 Hindi GECs (HSM (Urban + Rural) Pay – TV category, we saw that Star Plus leads the category with 702mn impressions in week 51 and 677mn impressions in week 52, followed by Colors with 636mn impressions in week 51 and 652mn impressions in week 52. Sony SAB on the third position with 614mn impressions in week 51 and 629mn impressions in week 52 and ZEE TV on the fourth position with 573mn impressions in week 51 and 579mn impressions in week 52.On the fifth position was Sony Entertainment Television with 471mn impressions in week 51 and 473mn impressions in week 52 and on the sixth position is Star Bharat with 301mnimpressions in week 51 and 305mn impressions in week 52. Dangal TV on the seventh position with 235mn impressions in week 51 and 242mn impressions in week 52. For the bottom three positions, Star Utsav with 193mn impressions in week 51 and 185mn impressions in week 52, ColorsRishtey with 166mn impressions in week 51 and 170mn and lastly on this list is &TV with 151mn impressions in week 51 and 161mn impressions in week 52.

Hindi GEC Rural:

In the HINDI GEC Rural category for week 51 and 52, we saw that Dangal led the chart with 949mn impressions and 938mn impressions followed by Big Magic with 316mn impressions and 362mn impressions. ZEE TV on the third position with 250mn impressions and 249mn impressions. On the fourth position is Star Plus with 244mn impressions and 234mn impressions, followed by SONY SAB on the fifth position with 199mn impressions and 200mn impressions. Colors on the sixth position with 192mn impressions and 194mn impressions, Sony Entertainment Television on the seventh position with 120mn impressions and 126mn impressions. Star Bharat on the eighth position with 99mn impressions in week 51 and 103mn impressions. For the last two postions has seen a change, STAR Utsav with 91mn impressions in week 51 has been pushed down to the last spot in week 52 with 83mn impressions and Colors Rishtey with 84mn impressions in week 51 has secured the second last spot in week 52 with 89mn impressions.

Hindi GEC Urban:

In the HINDI GEC Urban Category we saw that in week 51, Star Plus led the chart with 460mn impressions followed by Colors with 445mn impressions. The third and fourth spot is secured by Sony SAB with 419mn impressions and Sony Entertainment Television with 351mn impressions. On the fifth position is Zee Tv with 324mn impressions and Dangal on sixth position with 260mn impressions. Star Bharat on the seventh position with 202mn impressions. For the last three positions, &TV with 113mn impressions, Star Utsav with 103mn impressions and Big Magic with 90mn impressions.

For week 52, there has been a change in the position, with Colors on the first spot with 459mn impressions followed by Star Plus with 444mn impressions. Sony SAB on the third spot with 432mn impressions and Sony Entertainment Television on the fourth spot with 348mn impressions. For the fifth position we have Zee Tv with 331mn impressions and Dangal on sixth position with 259mn impressions. Star Bharat with 203 impressions. Last three positions we have &TV with 116mn impressions, Big Magic with 103mn impressions and Star Utsav with 102mn impressions.
