While social media was full of father’s day wishes, brands did not fail to capitalize on the occasion and communicated about the brand across various media.

Here are some of the campaigns.

Burger King Father’s Day Campaign

The Burger King campaign spoke about how growing up, most people have gotten an earful, mostly from their fathers which we will remember for the rest of our lives and believe it or not, it’s only to make us a better person.Burger King appreciated our fathers for all the yelling and thanked them for moulding us into the best versions of ourselves.

#KingOfGrill Thanking the original King Of Grill, our father for all the times he grilled us, just like we grill our Whoppers to make them better.

Usha’s #Followyourheart Campaign

Usha International paid a tribute to fatherhood through an emotionally charged digital film #FollowyourHeart. The film explores the cherished lessons a father imbues in his child, taking viewers through the heartwarming journey of how a father-child relationship evolves over time.

The depiction of the seamless reversal of roles, is a short code for the fact that every stage in life is transient, and so must be celebrated to the fullest. The visual storytelling tugs at the emotional heartstrings.

Father’s Day Social Media campaign by Durex

Durex has always been the brand which is known for its quirky advertisements and posts across digital media. Here is what they did on Father’s day.

Vodafone’s Father’s Day campaign

One of the most advertised company, Vodafone created a campaign that is worthy of reaching many hearts. The brand urges the audience to #LookUp from their smartphones and spend quality time with their Fathers and loved ones.

Father’s Day was never about letting the world know that your dad’s the best. It’s about letting him know he’s the best. Time to #LookUp

Spoken Word Dear Papa… I don’t like you by Yuvaa, an online youth platform

The video features known digital faces such as RajatBarmecha, PritKamani, rapper SlowCheeta (Chaitnya Sharma), dancer Kartik (MJ5) and writers Iresh Gupta & DivyanshuMalhotra, addresses the toxic idea of ‘Mardaangi’ (Masculinity) that is taught to boys in India, most often by their own fathers, who were told the same, growing up.

But this is a new generation of youth. The Gen Z wants to speak up, to express, to say what they feel without the fear of being judged. Even if their fathers couldn’t say ‘I love you’ to them, or give them a hug, they will not hold back. And this video tries to bring fathers and sons together by encouraging conversation, expression and just the joy of saying ‘I love you’! Yuvaa is looking to start a hashtag #HugyourPapa and encourage expressiveness of love, as this video is dedicated to all those fathers who couldn’t express, from all those sons who want to.
