New Delhi:Playtonia,one of the leading technology platform providers for eSports in India has partnered with SRM University to organize one of the largest International eSport mega tournaments in India. The primary focus of Playtonia stays firm i.e. to create avid avenues and career opportunities for youth in eSports. Their collaboration with educational institute has given the concept a much needed push. Playtonia accentuates on holistic growth of a student to inculcate the spirit of competition and sportsmanlike conduct at a very young age.
The International Students Rockstar League will feature some of the most competitive games of the modern generation like PUBG, FIFA 19 and Counter Strike Global Offensive. The League will cater to High school students currently studying in class 10th, 11th& 12th. ISRL will open avid avenues already prevalent in the eSports ecosystem. Besides participation and actual player growth, the league will also be focusing on the secondary and tertiary skills required in making eSports happen on a global stage.

SRM University has its eyes set on the Indian education system and look to develop eSports enthusiasts and simultaneously also create ample job opportunities for students enrolling themselves into their eSports programs.
The Primary agenda for SRM in the entire event shall be inculcation of the competitive spirit in the hearts of students by constructing a leaderboard like construct module around the entire program. This will keep the engagement and desired adrenaline pumping for all walks of life be it eSports, Academics or even day to day tasks.

This International eSport Mega tournament apart from India will be hosted in UAE, Canada, Malaysia and Africa. The winner will be awarded with a Prize pool of 35 Lakh Rupees and top 100 contenders will be awarded Scholarships worth INR 25 lakhs along with assured admissions at SRMIST (Sri Ramaswamy Memorial Institute of Science and Technology), Chennai campus.
