NIVEA India names Shweta Dalal as Marketing Director

Mumbai: NIVEA India has appointed Shweta Dalal as its new Marketing Director, effective from 30th September 2024. Shweta brings 16 years of extensive expertise across global brands at Unilever and L’Oreal. 

In her new role, Shweta will lead NIVEA India’s marketing strategy, focusing on enhancing the brand’s presence in India while aligning with NIVEA’s global mission of delivering superior skincare products. Her expertise in building impactful brand strategies, combined with her diverse international background, will be essential for driving NIVEA India’s growth.

In her previous position as Global Brand Director for Lux in South Asia, Africa, and Global Bars, she significantly contributed to brand growth and innovation. Her extensive experience includes creating and developing brands across South Asia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, and LATAM. She has effectively strengthened brand equity, identified brand purpose, and crafted sustainable, digital-first business models, all rooted in a deep understanding of consumer behavior.

Commenting on the appointment, Geetika Mehta, managing director of NIVEA India, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Shweta Dalal to our leadership team. Before joining NIVEA India, Shweta Dalal held leadership positions at Unilever and L’Oréal, where she effectively managed multi-market campaigns and implemented innovative marketing strategies across various regions. Her expertise aligns perfectly with NIVEA India’s commitment to providing world-class skincare solutions tailored to local needs.
