Father’s Day: Brands pay homage to dads with touching campaigns

Father’s Day: Brands pay homage to dads with touching campaigns

Ashok Leyland

Ashok Leyland, a manufacturer of commercial vehicles, pays tribute to the brainchildren of fathers within their organisation with a heartfelt Father’s Day film.

The film begins by asking the fathers about the best moment of their lives, to which they express that it was when their children were born. They share their dreams and aspirations for their children, hoping they will make a positive impact on the environment and society. The fathers then introduce their brainchildren –  creations nurtured within Ashok Leyland.

Conceptualised by Schbang, The film portrays the deep connection between these fathers and the trucks they have developed, symbolising strength, reliability, and innovation. It highlights the fathers’ dedication and passion for their work, emphasising their commitment to leaving a lasting legacy. The film concludes with a  message, conveying that when passion meets care, there are no limits to what can be achieved. 

Godrej & Boyce

Godrej & Boyce celebrated Father’s Day by collaborating with relatable dad personalities in the industry and social media. 

Celebrity wedding photographer Joseph Radhik and his fur baby showcased the safety provided by the Godrej Ace pro camera and Catus connect lock. Comedian Cyrus Broacha enjoyed the comfort of a Sumo recliner from Godrej Interio while joking about his children. Chef Ajay Chopra and his son baked a Father’s Day cake using their microwave recipe, with the Godrej Eon Dishwasher handling the dishes.

The campaign highlights the products’ functionality and how they enhance the lives of fathers.

Roastea

Roastea, an omnichannel beverage brand, celebrates Father’s Day with an ad film that captures the profound connection between a father and son, transcending physical distances.

The film portrays a father in Ahmedabad feeling lonely and disheartened when his busy son in Bangalore forgets to wish him on Father’s Day. However, an unexpected delight unfolds as the father is pleasantly surprised with a delightful assortment of dishes at Roastea, without having placed any orders.

The film demonstrates how Roastea serves as a conduit, enabling them to virtually savor their preferred tea and coffee from their respective locations. It emphasises the core message of cherishing the “Dad ke saath Dosti, only at Roastea” sentiment, underscoring the unique bond of friendship shared between children and their fathers while relishing their favorite beverages and cuisine exclusively at Roastea.

Betterhalf

Betterhalf, an AI-driven matrimony app, has launched a campaign to honour Father’s love and challenge stereotypes surrounding the father-child relationship on Father’s Day.

The campaign portrays the evolving bond between a father and son, which transforms over time and transcends the conventional parent-child dynamic, blossoming into a deep friendship.

Through this ad film, Betterhalf captures the essence of this unique bond, highlighting the moment when children realise that their father acknowledges their readiness to follow in his footsteps.

Bergner India

Bergner India released a heartfelt video featuring its  brand ambassador Chef Vikas Khanna, for Father’s Day. The video captures the  relationship between a father and child, showcasing Chef Vikas’s personal journey and his father’s instrumental role in nurturing his culinary passion. Despite societal norms, Chef Vikas’s father gifted him a ‘tandoor,’ becoming a cornerstone of his career. 

The campaign aims to portray the limitless love and unwavering support fathers provide, shedding light on their selfless sacrifices to help their children achieve their dreams. Chef Vikas Khanna encourages viewers to express gratitude to their fathers on this special occasion for their profound impact.

Poonawalla Fincorp

Poonawalla Fincorp, a non-banking finance company, launches a special Father’s Day campaign called ‘Boman ki Pyaari’ to honor fatherhood. The campaign features TV personality Cyrus Broacha and highlights the often overlooked sacrifices made by fathers for their children.

The film depicts a young man’s journey into adulthood and fatherhood, where his daughter faces challenges in her cupcake business. The father, played by Cyrus Broacha, selflessly decides to sell his beloved car to support her. However, realising his emotional attachment to the car, the daughter seeks help from Poonawalla Fincorp.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund celebrates fathers as knowledgeable investment advisors who guide their sons to transition from savers to investors.

The Father’s Day campaign by ICICI addresses a father’s disappointment in his son’s lack of investing habits. The campaign recognises that Gen Z has numerous investment options, including various mutual funds that allow them to invest in different asset classes. It highlights the role of fathers in guiding their children to make the right investment choices, emphasising the importance of growing wealth with mutual funds.

HDFC Mutual Fund 

HDFC Mutual Fund launches an extension to their investor education campaign, #ZindagiKeLiyeSIP, coinciding with Father’s Day. The campaign pays tribute to the wisdom passed down by fathers, drawing parallels between life lessons and Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs). The heartfelt video captures touching moments between fathers and children, highlighting the fathers’ commitment to instilling values for their children’s future. It emphasises the importance of early beginnings, encouraging individuals to make small investments today for significant future results. The campaign inspires individuals to adopt a long-term mindset, just as fathers teach the value of perseverance and hard work, to build a solid financial foundation.

Research & Ranking

Research & Ranking, the equity investment advisory brand, introduces its digital campaign “Papa Kehte Hein – Long Term is the only way,” honoring the dedication and virtues embodied by fathers globally. The campaign emphasises financial mantras for long-term investments.

It also highlights the significance of fathers’ presence and unwavering support in a child’s life. The campaign aims to provide guidance and resources to help individuals embrace these financial principles.

Narayana Educational Institutions

Narayana Educational Institutions pays tribute to fathers worldwide with a new digital film that showcases the invaluable role they play in their children’s lives.

The film celebrates the dedicated efforts made by fathers, from the moment of holding their newborn child to supporting them in achieving their dreams. It portrays the strong bond between a father and his son, highlighting the father’s pivotal role in the child’s success.

The film emphasises the unconditional love, support, and mentorship provided by fathers, instilling values and a love for learning through their actions. It recognises fathers as role models and motivators who are always there for their children.
