Eveready shows that toys can teach life lessons, promises more power in their batteries

Conceptualised by Ogilvy, the campaign for Ultima Alkaline batteries shows how children can learn important values and lessons through non-stop play with battery-powered toys.

Eveready Industries India has introduced its latest range of Ultima Alkaline batteries, and introduced it through a campaign themed ‘Khelenge Toh Sikhenge’.

The film showcases Ultima and Ultima Pro range of alkaline batteries, which promise to deliver consistent performance across modern devices and high-drain applications.

Conceptualised by Ogilvy, the campaign offers a fresh perspective on play, highlighting its importance for children. The film moves the perspective from play with battery-powered toys being just fun to it teaching life lessons. The narrative flows from a mother’s point of view as her children play with battery-powered toys and engage with those around them in meaningful ways, to learn important values such as compassion and empathy.

The batteries are also equipped with a unique Turbolock Technology which prevents leakage and protects the consumer’s precious devices from damage caused by the batteries. As a testament to our vision of responsible innovation, Ultima batteries are eco-friendly, devoid of mercury, lead, and cadmium. This is not just a product upgrade; it’s a step towards shaping a better tomorrow.”
