Dairy Brand Nandini enters TN Market; appoints Challenge Ads as integrated Media Agency

Chennai: Dairy Brand Nandhini owned by Bengaluru Cooperative Milk Union Ltd., (Bamul) a unit of Karnataka Milk Federation has entered into Chennai Market with the launch of its products range comprising Milk, Curd and Other products in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

In order to amplify the popularity of its brand and promote its new range of products amongst consumers in Tamil Nadu, Bamul has appointed Challenge Ads as its as integrated Media Agency to handle its 360 degree marketing initiative.

Chennai based Independent Media and Creative agency Challenge Ads founded by Dr R Sakthivel has its operations in various other cities in India and South East Asia. The agency has successfully handled the product launch event held recently in channel and it will be kick starting the campaign shortly.

The Bengaluru Cooperative Milk Union Ltd., (Bamul) a unit of Karnataka Milk Federation was established during 1975 under Operation Flood II the ambitious programme of National Dairy Development Board. The Union procures milk in Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural & Ramanagara Districts of Karnataka State and sells Milk in Bengaluru. The union since its inception is constantly striving further for dairy development and marketing activities in its milk shed area.

The milk and milk products of Bamul are sold in the name of brand “NANDINI” through 1954 retailers, 81 Franchisee Outlets, 49 Milk Parlors, 330 distribution routes in Bengaluru.  The key success factor of Bamul in becoming a market leader is the narrow price spread maintained between purchase & sales, marketing higher volumes of milk.  There are more than 60 products which include many variants of Milk and Milk Products, Curd, Butter, Cheese, Milk powder, Paneer, Sweets, Biscuits and many more which are well accepted and appreciated by the consumers.
