Colors remains on top in Urban HSM Market, Zee Anmol leads Urban + Rural

Colors remains on top in Urban HSM Market, Zee Anmol leads Urban + Rural

Mumbai: According to the BARC Ratings of Hindi GEC market for week 26 for the period between Saturday, 23rd June 2018 to Friday, 29th June 2018, Zee Anmol with 719829 (000s impressions)  has retained its leadership position though there is a slight decline in its viewership. Sony Pal which followed the leader in the previous week has dropped to the 5th place this week with 540331  (000s impressions) Zee Tv and Star Bharat have moved on to the 2nd and 3rd places with 582960 (000s impressions)and 565587(000s impressions) respectively. Colors that stood at the 5th position in week 25 has progressed to the 4th place with 564746 (000s impressions).

In the Hindi GEC Urban market Colors continues to lead the market with 388274 (000s impressions) followed by Zee TV and STAR Plus with 354054 (000s impressions)  and 351818 (000s impressions) respectively. The position of the Hindi GEC’s are seen unchanged with subtle changes in the impressions of the channels.

Star Bharat occupies in the 4th position with 279306 (000s impressions)  while with 278589 (000s impressions) Sony SAB stands at No. 5 position. Sony Entertainment Television with 257894 (000s impressions) and Sony Pal with 169971 (000s impressions) occupy the 6th and 7th places in the top 10 Hindi GECs list. Zee Anmol takes the 8th place with 166716 (000s impressions) while Star Utsav and Rishtey stand at 9th and 10 places in the list with 150221(000s impressions)  and 132779 (000s impressions) respectively.

Taking a deeper look of the 5 top rated programs in the Hindi GEC space, fantasy fiction series    produced by Balaji telefilms aired on Colors with an increase of 58 (000s impressions)  against its previous week’s performance retains its leadership position since its launch.

Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya with 7318 (000s impressions)  and Star Plus’ Kulfi Kumar Bajewala with 5850 (000s impressions) remain at the  2nd and 5th places though there is a slight increase in the impressions

Colors’ dance reality show Dance Deewane with 6830 (000s impressions) and  Zee TV’s  Kumkum Bhagya with 6671 (000s impressions) have interchanged its positions and stands at 3rd and 4th positions respectively.

Zee Anmol with 553113 (000s impressions)  continues to dominate the Hindi GEC Rural market for week 26 though there is a dip in its viewership against the previous week, followed by Sony Pal and STAR Utsav with 370361 (000s impressions)   and 329470 (000s impressions)  respectively.
