Colors Marathi reveals fresh visual identity and new proposition

India: Colors Marathi has revealed a brand overhaul, ushering in a new phase of creativity. The channel will introduce a fresh tagline, ‘Navi Ubhaari, OonchBharari,’ embodying Maharashtra’s aspirations and a pledge to excel.

The revamped ‘Bigg Boss Marathi’ season, with Riteish Deshmukh as the new host, has broken records for its highest TVR in show history. The Grand Premiere in a new slot symbolizes the channel’s fusion of tradition and modernity. Riteish Deshmukh unveiled the channel’s new look on a recent episode of the show.

The channel’s new look appeals to modern Maharashtrians honoring tradition while embracing growth. It features the ‘Chandrakor,’ a symbol representing the Marathi culture, associated with historical figures like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This design signifies the channel’s commitment to authenticity, ambition, and optimism. The Chandrakor’s saffron shade symbolizes Maharashtra’s pride and courage, complementing the packaging’s red hues, representing progress and prosperity.

Sushma Rajesh, Cluster Head – Colors Marathi, Colors Kannada, and Colors Tamil at Viacom18, commenting on the revamp, said “Colors Marathi has consistently championed the rich values and traditions of Marathi culture. The Chandrakor, which adorns every Maharashtrian’s forehead, is central to our design thinking, representing our collective pride and ambition. We are confident that this refreshed identity will strengthen our bond with viewers and reinforce Colors Marathi as a cornerstone of Marathi entertainment.”

Colors Marathi commits to showcasing engaging local entertainment blending tradition with progress, featuring new series ‘Durga’ and ‘AaiTulja Bhavani,’ offering captivating narratives of a girl seeking vengeance and the revered Goddess Bhavani.

Colors Marathi embarks on a new journey with its ‘Navi Ubhaari, OonchBharari’ initiative, continuing to celebrate the richness of Marathi culture and tradition with a fresh twist of innovation.
