From offering exciting rewards to launching innovative campaigns and video songs, Brands across the spectrum celebrates the 75th year of freedom by voicing their idea of Independence. We have compiled a few Independence Day campaigns.

Uber

Uber launched a music video to celebrate India’s 75th Independence Day starring Esther Hnamte, a five-year-old singer from Mizoram performing a rendition of “Maa Tujhe Salaam.”

The Video also highlights Uber’s efforts to support communities around the country during COVID-19. The three-minute video is a tribute to India’s fighting spirit throughout the pandemic. It reinforces Uber’s commitment to helping the country build back better.

Samsung India

Samsung is celebrating this Independence Day with a brand new initiative for defense personnel. Serving and retired defense personnel can now avail Canteen Stores Department (CSD) rates while buying Samsung TVs and digital appliances such as Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, Microwaves, and Washing Machines from select Samsung Smart Plaza stores as well, in addition to Canteen Stores Department (CSD) depots.

This initiative aims to enhance the buying experience and offer a more comprehensive range of Samsung products to defense personnel at select Samsung Smart Plazas across the country.

“Keeping in mind the upcoming festive season, Samsung has created a one-of-its-kind initiative by offering CSD benefits at Samsung Smart Plazas to defense personnel and their families. This Independence Day, our endeavor through this program is to create an intimate brand experience by enhancing shopping convenience. We hope to continue adding value to their lives with our innovative products and services,” said Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, Consumer Electronics Business, Samsung India.

Tata Tea Premium

As an earnest gesture to support the Indian Artisan community, TATA Tea Premium celebrates this Independence Day by bringing out a unique #DeshKaKulhad collection in partnership with Rare Planet. This startup promotes the work of local Indian artisans. The proceeds of the sale of these exquisite hand-painted Kulhads will help lend support to the artisan community severely impacted by the current times.

The brand, too, will contribute an additional amount for every product sold from this collection to support the more significant cause of the Artisan Community.

MX TakaTak

On the momentous celebration of our 75th Independence Day, India’s leading short format video app, MX TakaTak, joined hands with popular singer-actor Arjun Kanungo to bring audiences a new inspirational track – ‘Jaya Hey.’Supporting the creator community on their platform, MX TakaTak has given a once-in-lifetime chance for its music content creators – Gowri Bhat and Rabbit Sack C to collaborate with an established artist like Arjun Kanungo, along with Puja Goyal, who is an aspiring rapper and voice actor. Creators like Vishal Kalra, Arpit Dadhich, Mahira Khan, Kajal Chandravanshi, Noor Afshan, Prem Vats and Vihaan Goyal who have wowed audiences with their individual talent have also got an opportunity to feature as part of the engaging music video.

&flix and &PriveHD has curated Independence Day Special binge starting 7:30 PM on &flix and 12 PM on &PrivéHD. The channel will telecast ‘Pelé: Birth of A Legend’ and Lone Survivor on Independence Day.

MediBuddy

Keeping the spirits high of the nation in these testing times, MediBuddy unveiled its new digital campaign – Fight for Freedom. Policybazaar.com has released its new digital film, centered around the traditional definition of a family. The film, released on the occasion of Independence Day, draws attention towards core human values of lending a helping hand at the time of need reminiscent of insurance. The brand wanted to give a positive

larger-than-life message while staying salient to the category.

Speaking about the launch of the film, Sharat Dhall, COO, Policybazaar said, “This digital film is a journey with one central thought — the importance of a support system. The story depicted here conveys a very quiet but strong underlying message of love and support. While the end goal is undoubtedly to make people realize the importance of insurance in their lives, the parallel message of people bonding together to help someone in their time of need is more significant”. 

Candere by Kalyan Jewellers 

Candere by Kalyan Jewellers has come out with an exclusive offer on its diamond jewelry collection to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee, the 75th year of our Independence. The brand is offering a 25 % discount on diamond prices with an additional 5% instant bank discount. The offer is open from 9th August and will continue till 16th August.

Candere is running a video campaign around this promotional offer. Speaking about the success of the #DeshseHaiHum campaign, Rupesh Jain, CEO Candere said “We are extremely delighted to see the eyeballs and response from our customers in the Independence Week Sale. Go First 

Go First (formerly known as GoAir) will commemorate Independence Day. Passengers flying GO FIRST on August 15 stand a chance to win an all-inclusive paid holiday to Goa for 2 couples. To mark this year’s I-Day, IDFC Mutual Fund has rolled out a film highlighting the importance of financial advisors in the lives of investors across the nation.

Speaking about the film, CEO hotstuff media labs, Arun Fernandes said, “The community of Financial Advisors is connected to the universe of investors across India. Working with them over the years, we have realized how they see this as a collective goal for India’s progress and decided to voice out that tribute through our film.”

The film, #DeshKaNivesh, not just features investors from various geographical locations across the country but also shows investors from different age groups in varied situations of life. In the eight-scene film, hotstuff has brought out the essence of how a financial expert’s correct piece of advice can truly change the lives of the investors.

Vedanta Ltd 

Vedanta Ltd, the producer of metals and oil & gas, has rolled out a special campaign ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat KeLiye’, aimed at highlighting India’s remarkable journey of Independence in the last 75 years and its onward quest towards achieving economic self-reliance.

The Atmanirbhar Bharat film showcases the key message through a teacher and a Vedanta engineer educating children on a school bus about the fact that all-natural resources like steel, aluminum, zinc, etc. come from the core of Mother Earth. The Video with a song in a well-known music score explains that it is these blessings hidden within Indian soil that, if utilized appropriately, will help us fulfill the nation’s needs and become a self-reliant country. The objective of the campaign is to position the larger purpose of nation-building with an aim to contribute towards India’s self-sufficiency in natural resources, to achieve our country’s vision of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’.

White Light Food

As part of the Independence Day exclusive menu, White Light Food is offering Tricolour Sushi and Tricolour Dimsum Boxes. The Sushi Box consists of flavourful, vegetarian California Maki Rolls that include condiments like wasabi, ginger, soy, spicy mayo, and tempura crumbs, that make for a crunchy and delightful treat. The Dimsums Boxes come in three variants: Jain, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Savor the appetising flavors of Truffle Edamame, Veg Crystal or Brocolli& Corn dimsums or relish juicy bites of Chicken Coriander, Prawn Burnt Garlic or Spicy Chicken dimsums.

Ultra Media& Entertainment Group

On this Independence Day, Ultra Media & Entertainment Group to release “Sufi Rock Season I “: An Ensemble Series of Melodious Music Videos of 6 Sufi Songs Composed & Sung with a Fusion of Rock Music. Each Video will be a unique blend of Sufi verses with soulful melodies, contemporized using electronic equipment & modern techniques. The Videos will be released at regular intervals on the “Ultra Bollywood” YouTube Channel & across all leading Music Streaming Apps.

Lomotif

Lomotif announced the latest campaign #MYFREEDOMREMIX. The campaign aims to have creators from all over the country reminisce about the pre covid days when we breathed free, when friends and family hung out together and celebrated every moment of their lives bereft of worries and gloom.

Snapchatters

Celebrating India’s Independence Snapchat has launched its latest landmark lens at the historic India Gate, a first for Delhi. Powered by Snapchat’s path-breaking AR technology, the lens brings to life the iconic monument located in the heart of Delhi. To experience the Landmark, Snapchatters nearby will be notified to point their camera at the monument, and will instantly showcase the India Gate embellished with the tricolor.

Moj has launched #MyFreedomMatters campaign with actress Hina Khan to celebrate India’s 75th Independence Day. The campaign stresses freedom of expression in the internet world, shaping a democratic foundation for the internet community to share opinions, lead their lives without fear of being judged or face any form of negativity on the internet.

The creator community on Moj, including Hina Khan, will be seen celebrating the hashtag campaign and Independence Day with a new collection of super cool lenses launched specially to invoke a feeling of patriotism among its community.

Lodha Group, India’s largest* real estate developer, launches an initiative to empower Young India to commemorate the 75th Independence Day. The initiative is the aims to enable aspiring millennials with increased accessibility to secure a quality starter home by extending zero EMI benefits till August 15, 2022. The initiative is valid for first-time home buyers and is applicable for all under-construction and ready units of 1BHK & studio configurations across Lodha developments.

To make Independence Day extra special, Picsart has also further introduced four new Indian text fonts, Indian music, and exciting stickers and replays that will allow users to create special content to portray their love for India.
