The latest technological trend that has gained massive acceptance and popularity in recent times is Artificial Intelligence. Artificial intelligence has earned itself a vital position in the smooth functioning of many industries, including the performance marketing industry. AI has been transforming the performance marketing landscape in various ways that have been rendering a significant impact on businesses.

Efficient Customer Service

AI-driven chatbots and software have been ruling customer query resolution and support for the last decade. The introduction of AI has spelled relief for customers, who can now get their problems solved within a few clicks. As opposed to the long hours that they had to spend waiting to get connected to a customer service executive over the phone in the earlier times, this came as a respite. Customer service can now be availed anytime, anywhere through the help of automated chatbots. Additionally, the introduction of voice and picture-based searches, smart apps, and virtual assistance, all of which aid the customer shopping experience immensely, have also come about thanks to AI and ML. Thus, one can safely conclude that AI and Machine Learning have contributed significantly to streamlining the customer experience.

Targeted Approach towards Marketing

The use of Artificial Intelligence allows marketers to approach their audience in a targeted manner. One of the most important aspects of targeted marketing is persuading your audience. AI is the future of digital marketing, especially performance marketing, in the coming year, whether it’s in virtual assistants, predictive consumer segmentation, or smart design for individualized customer experiences. Marketing has an edge over traditional advertising, as targeting people based on their broad inclinations yields better results. Marketers may utilize customized data to evaluate whether buyers will be interested in a product before asking them to pay anything at all by leveraging the use of Artificial Intelligence.

AI Tools that Bolster Marketing Quality

Integration of AI into search operations has enhanced the quality and efficiency of searches. AI-based searches assist the customer in finding what they are looking for in a seamless and quick manner. This takes away the possibility of errors or lack of customer knowledge that could possibly hinder their search experience. The use of AI and Machine Learning also facilitates better search suggestions that are customized based on the past activities of a given customer. AI-enabled voice search options are becoming increasingly popular owing to the ease and effectiveness of their use. This option can help boost traffic and leads. Additionally, AI-driven solutions such as pay per click are also extremely helpful for businesses. They enable them to pay only for initiatives that earn results and, in this way, allow them to be satisfied with the marketing expenditure thus incurred.

Refinement and Optimization of Content

Marketers may utilize AI to increase the SEO, audience engagement, and social share value of their content. Scaling up content marketing is one of the most difficult components of a marketer’s job, and marketers consider it as their biggest pain point. AI can assist marketers in quickly designing, optimizing, and even creating new content. This is true not only for long-form written content but also for picture and creative output. In reality, today’s AI-driven technology can assist marketers in locating and repurposing existing assets, automating image creation and refinement, as well as producing and personalizing content.

The search engine algorithms that run search engines play a factor in SEO. Integrated AI in search engines allows them to ignore typos, automatically changing to what they think you meant to type based on your search history or habits. The ongoing advancement of one of the world’s leading search engine’s AI, allows it to identify the searcher’s intent. For example, if you typed in ‘Apple,’ the search engine would know whether you meant the firm or the fruit based on your past and behavior. It doesn’t end there, as every day, the specificity of searches and the engine’s ability to determine what you truly want to see improves. AI is becoming increasingly complex, and it is already capable of understanding voice search options in a variety of languages.

Personalization

AI uses the records of a given customer’s past patterns and preferences to base what they interact with. This allows the customer to avail a very personalized and tailored experience. They get to interact with only the selective content that is at par with their interests and thus save time and effort in the search. The data collected by AI is also helpful to the marketers, who can use it to understand individual customer behavior and tastes and alter/her services to suit them. Knowing your market inside out is key to being a successful businessperson. Thus, harnessing the power of this AI-based data can help boost lead generations and conversions significantly. Hence, using AI and Machine Learning in marketing can aid the facilitation of a hyper-personalized customer experience, which increases possible sales and growth.

The performance marketing industry, too, has been quick to utilize the many advantages of AI. AI in performance marketing benefits not only its marketers, but it also gives consumers easier access to the products and services they want.
