Chennai : According to the ratings of week 10, In Tamil Nadu market, Sun TV declined marginally to 206,571 GVTs this week from 216,150 GVTs in week 9. Vijay TV which is registering strong growth in numbers due to the live telecast of World Cup matches in Tamil feed, saw its ratings drop to 84,469 GVTs in week 10 from 90,069 GVTs in week 9. Zee Tamil’s ratings increased in week 10 to 24,385 GVTs from 21,000 GVTs in week 9. Raj TV’s ratings on the other hand saw an increase during this week to 20,371 GVTs from 18,909 GVTs in week 9. Kalaignar TV increased this week to 20,022 GVTs from 17,989 GVTs in week 9. Jaya TV increased to 13,001 GVTs in week 10 from 11,931 GVTs in week 9. Mega TV increased to 5566 GVTs in week 10 from 4964 GVTs in week 9. Captain TV declined marginally to 4162 GVTs in week 10 from 4413 GVTs in week 9.
In Andhra Pradesh market Gemini TV managed to retain the no. 1 position for the fourth consecutive week and saw its ratings dip a little during the week to 107,834 GVTs from 108,013 GVTs last week. Maa TV declined to 91,233 GVTs in week 10 from 95,444 GVTs in week 9. Zee Telugu increased to 83,735 GVTs from 79,694 GVTs last week. ETV decreased to 79,015 GVTs in week 10 from 82,710 GVTs in week 9. Vissa decreased to 117 GVTs this week from 324 GVTs last week.
In Karnataka market Udaya TV increased during week 10 to 78,897 GVTs from 68,402 GVTs in week 9. ETV Kannada increased to 56,769 GVTs in week 10 from 53,460 GVTs in week 9. Suvarna on the other hand declined to 45,833 GVTs this week from 47,679 GVTs last week. Zee Kannada declined to 30,289 GVTs in week 10 from 33,064 GVTs in week 9. Kasturi saw its ratings rise to 8106 GVTs from 6828 GVTs last week.
In the Kerala market, Asianet increased to 54,166 GVTs in week 10 from 52,390 GVTs in week 9. Surya increased to 14,428 GVTs this week from 13,104 GVTs last week. Mazhavil Manorama brought in ratings of 12,783 GVTs in week 10. Asianet Plus increased to 5848 GVTs in week 10 from 5170 GVTs in week 9. Kairali declined its ratings this week to 4796 GVTs from 5003 GVTs last week. Amrita decreased marginally to 2248 GVTs this week from 2506 GVTs during last week.
Among news channels in Kerala Market Manorama News stood at no.1 position with 502 GVTs, Asianet News at no. 2 scored 488 GVTs, followed by Mathrubhumi News at no. 3 with 471 GVTS, while Reporter stood at no. 4 362 GVTs and People TV at no. 5 scored 122 GVTs.
