Window Magic’s ‘Darwaza Band’ campaign aims to sensitise citizens of the social evils plaguing society

Window Magic's 'Darwaza Band' campaign aims to sensitise citizens of the social evils plaguing society

MUMBAI: Coinciding with the New Year, 2025, Window Magic, a premium manufacturer of Engineered uPVC and Aluminium Windows and Doors, launched a campaign to sensitise citizens of the social evils plaguing society. Titled ‘Darwaza Band’ meaning “close the door”, the campaign has identified a list 12 of social evils that are rampant not only in India, but around the world. These include, Food Waste, Domestic Violence, Child Labour, Cyber Bullying, Substance Abuse, Corruption, Environmental Destruction, Animal Cruelty, Workplace Harassment, Body Shaming, Racism and Pollution.

Launching the campaign, Manish Bansal, director, CEO, Window Magic, said, “ Through the ‘Darwaza Band’ campaign, we aim to demonstrate our commitment to building a safer and socially conscious world. The campaign also emphasises the lasting impact of ‘closing the door’ on social evils and contributing to the long-term well-being of the society; while also demonstrating Window Magic’s commitment to sustainability”.

Aanchal Bansal, executive director, Window Magic said, “The campaign leverages the symbolism of closing doors to represent a proactive step towards shutting out social evils. It highlights Window Magic’s commitment to social responsibility. By addressing social issues, the brand positions itself as a conscientious entity dedicated to making a positive impact on the community”

To drive the campaign, Window Magic aims to harness social media like Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn to reach citizens and create a viral effect. Other mediums include Influencer Marketing, Blogs, Public Relations, and Mall Activation with the specially developed hashtag #DarwazaBand

Planned for four months from January 2025 to April 2025, the campaign will use a combination of videos and static posts while also utilising important national days and festive days to drive engagement with the audience.

The launch video urges citizens to take responsibility, unite against these social evils, and close the doors on what harms us, society and planet and create a safer planet for future generations.
