Public app enables 30000 local promoters to geo-target their consumers

Ending the year 2021 on a high note, Public App, India’s largest location-based social network enabled more than 30,000 local promoters of Bharat to reach their neighbourhood customers by promoting their offerings on the app at a fraction of the cost compared to other marketing mediums. Local promoters such as small businesses and politicians have utilized this opportunity to reach local users in Tier 2,3,4 cities of Bharat who use the app actively to stay updated about their surroundings through local verified updates. These local promoters across sectors have also reported phenomenal responses through the promotions and have witnessed a spike in demand for their products and services.

Small businesses that form the backbone of our economy were hit miserably due to the ongoing pandemic. States went through unpredicted patches of lockdowns that pushed small businesses to shut their shops and resulted in a significant drop in sales. Public app provide these businesses an opportunity to target their local consumers and promote their offerings digitally by geo-targeting their customers. This helped small businesses bounce back faster from the adverse impact of the pandemic and get back up on their feet.

Vivek Gupta, Director MI Showroom, who sells MI smartphones in Madhya Pradesh says, “We benefited tremendously by using Public app. People who order products online receive them only after four to five days. We bridged that gap by not only making handsets available to them at the earliest but also offering them a better price. We thank Public app and request other small business owners to reach out to them for advertisements that help in increasing the sales.”

Lakshman Pal, proprietor of RK Jewelers selling gold jewelry in Bilaspur says, “We received a phenomenal response through the promotion of our business on Public app. We got phone calls from our near and dear ones congratulating us on this initiative. Some new customers came to our shop informing that they saw our shop’s advertisement on Public App. As the response rate was beyond our expectation which created awareness in the smaller villages and towns, I have extended our association with them for an entire year! I request other small businesses too to promote their brand on Public app to increase their business.”

Even local politicians on a district, tehsil, and gram panchayat level are using Public app to promote festive season greetings, new laws, or updates on upcoming elections in the most engaging and innovative video formats. Public app is also helping these politicians to create a deeper impact with the users as the promotions in vernacular languages seem more conversational.

Even the customers benefit equally from the promotions as they get to know about the local promoters and their offerings. Public App, owing to its vast reach and ability not only provides real-time updates but also connects small businesses, authorities, and politicians with their target audiences. From targeting citizens that live within the radius of their operations to using digital platforms to communicate their message to them in their local language through innovative ads, the app has been a boon in helping these local promoters create a deeper impact with the users.
