Weather Risk Management Services (WRMS), a pioneer in smart and sustainable farming in India, appoints Satheesh Arjilli as Vice President – Business Development. In his new role, Satheesh will head the overall business development strategies of WRMS. Using his wheelhouse, he will provide strategic direction to the company’s growth agenda and operations to amplify WRMS’ core idea to promote sustainable agriculture. In addition to his responsibilities, he will be upgrading the WRMS processes to cope with the business challenges, training the units on the process-related issues, business negotiations, and building sustainable corporate relationships.
Satheesh is a financial inclusion expert who will incorporate microfinance and microinsurance operations to elevate WRMS’ core vision to help farmers earn by practicing sustainable farming. He will transform WRMS’ ongoing journey towards new business opportunities and elevate the company’s move to integrate high-tech and emerging technologies for the greater benefit of farmers willing to practice sustainable farming. Some of the organizations that he has worked for include Sub-K Impact Solutions Ltd, BASIX Consulting, Bhartiya Samruddhi Finance Limited (BSFL), etc. An experienced leader with a blend of strategic and hands-on experience, Satheesh possesses excellent business management skills that will actively contribute to driving the business agenda.

Satheesh is an MBA in Finance and General Management from the Ideal Institute of Management and Sciences. He has also done a Bachelor of Law and Legislation from Andhra University.
