Brands celebrated the 72nd Republic Day in their unique way during Pandemic

Channelizing the inner patriotism, brands across all the categories have come up with unique ideas and thoughts towards provoking ways to observe the day in their own style. Some of them are as follows.

Ambuja cement:

This Republic Day, Ambuja Cement inspires every Indian to keep the flag flying high as we emerge from the lowest of times, with a heart-warming film and contemporary rendition of the Flag Song, created by Scarecrow M&C Saatchi. Through this heart-warming film, Ambuja Cement wants to reiterate the fact that tough times may come and go, but the patriotic spirit of the nation should remain unshakeable, unbroken and strong.

The film has been conceptualised by Scarecrow M&C Saatchi. It has been directed by Savita Singh (the renowned cinematographer of Hawaizaada, Ventilator & more) and produced by Vikram Turkhud and Manoj.

Luminous Power Technologies

Luminous Power Technologies released a video celebrating India’s spirit of nationhood, unity and brotherhood. Resonating with the spirit of a free nation, the video features one of the greatest batsmen of all times and the brand ambassador for Luminous Power Technologies- Sachin Tendulkar imparting a beautiful social message of promising ourselves to be free from the darkness in our lives. The brand urges everyone to come together and fight the evil of darkness and illuminate the nation by saving electricity. Commemorating the day, the video leans on a behavioural change in people by urging them to use electricity judicially so that we have an illuminating tomorrow.

Godrej Group

On the occasion of India’s 72ndRepublic Day, the Godrej Group has released a video campaign that salutes the great transformation of India, and also celebrates the Group’s emotional connect and oneness with India and its people, whom it has been serving ever since it came into existence 123 years ago. The campaign, #GodrejForIndia, is also a heartfelt expression of the Group’s gratitude for having been able to contribute to the nation’s growth.

Moj

Moj, India’s leading short video platform, has unveiled #MojHeroes campaign, this Republic Day with Indian actor and philanthropist, SonuSood. The campaign’s purpose is to pay tribute to Indian soldiers for their countless acts of sacrifice in safeguarding India’s sovereignty and also applaud everyday heroes who contribute towards building a better India.

Salaam Bombay Foundation

As a tribute to one of the most important days in the history of India, Salaam Bombay Foundation has honoured 75 BMC Marshals from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (Bombay Municipal Corporation – BMC). To honour the selfless dedication of these real superheroes, the Foundation gifted each of the Marshals with personalised “Thank you” mugs. The ceremony took place at Nariman Point, at the BMC – A South Ward and was attended by Mr Atul Prabhakar Jatigavker, Assistant Head Supervisor, A Ward, Mr. Narendra Parmar, Supervisor (A Ward – South), Mr. Bhagvan Babu Kamble, Supervisor (A Ward – North), Ms SmrutiKasulwar, Vice President – Human Resources, Salaam Bombay Foundation along with the Foundation’s employees who came out in support of the Marshals.

Voltas 

Voltas Limited, India’s AC brand, from the house of Tata’s, has launched a new digital video commercial (DVC)- “#CelebratingASelfReliantFuture “. Launched on the occasion of India’s 72nd Republic Day, this DVC is a tribute to the young entrepreneurs who are paving the way to create a self-reliant nation.

The “#CelebratingASelfReliantFuture” video is inspired by the spirit of entrepreneurship – the strong need to be self-sufficient for a sustainable future and have courage to face challenges together as a nation. With this DVC, Voltas is reinforcing its commitment as a proud, #MadeInIndia brand that aims to not only become self-reliant, but also encourage the society to capitalise on the domestic resources and empower local communities.
