BARC Wk 45: Star Plus regains leadership; Zee Anmol continues to dominate U+R HSM

BARC Wk 14 : Star Plus retains leadership in Urban HSM; Dangal continues to top U+R and Rural

Mumbai: According to the BARC ratings for the week 45 for the period between Saturday, 3rd November 2018 and Friday, 9th November 2018, the U+ R HSM is dominated by Zee Anmol for quite some weeks now.  The Urban HSM category is topped by Star Plus by which it has regained its leadership by pushing last week’s market leader Zee TV to the 4th slot in week 45.

The Hindi GEC market in week 45, has witnessed a mild shuffle with Zee Anmol 812653 (000s) impressions continuing to lead the market, Star Utsav 666647 (000s) impressions and Star Bharat 660593 (000s) impressions have emerged as the first and second runner up respectively while Zee TV 644737 (000s) impressions has slided to the 4th slot against its runner up position last week. However, Star Plus 643485 (000s) impressions and Colors 593894 (000s) impressions have retained their positions at No.5 and No.6 slots respectively followed by Sony Pal 591767 (000s) impressions and Sony 550846 (000s) impressions standing in the rankings of No.7 and No.8 places respectively. Sony Sab 418069 (000s) impressions and Dangal TV 412661 (000s) impressions are seen occupying the 9th and 10th places in the top 10 Hindi GEC list in week 45.

Hindi GEC Urban

The HSM GEC toppers are seen competing very aggressively while the order of the last 5 position in the chart remains the same. Star Plus 430435 (000s) impressions has regained its leadership position this week, followed by Colors 402857 (000s) impressions which is also seen climbing to the No.2 position against its No.4 position in week 44. While Sony 401999 (000s) impressions has retained its No.3 place, the week 44’s market leader Zee TV 387024 (000s) impressions has seen a dip and stood at No.4.  The rest of the Hindi GEC’s like Star Bharat 315784 (000s) impressions, Sony Sab 305886 (000s) impressions, Star Utsav 199599 (000s) impressions are seen settled at the 5th, 6th and 7th places in the chart respectively while Sony Pal 164913 (000s) impressions, Zee Anmol 144853 (000s) impressions and &TV 114916 (000s) impressions  have also managed to occupy the No.7, No.8 and No.10 slots respectively in the HSM Urban GEC category in week 45.

Hindi GEC Rural

The rankings of the Hindi GECs in the HSM rural category shows that, Zee Anmol 667800 (000s) impressions continues to lead the market, followed by Star Utsav 467048 (000s) impressions which was also the runner up in week 44. Sony Pal 426854 (000s) impressions occupies the 3rd position while Star Bharat 344810 (000s) impressions has stepped down to the 4th place. Further, Dangal TV 327595 (000s) impressions has managed to stay at the 5th position, while Rishtey 288870 (000s) impressions has climbed to the 6th place pushing away Zee TV 257713 (000s) impressions to the 7th place. The rest of the Hindi GECs Big Magic 236924 (000s) impressions, Star Plus 213050 (000s) impressions and Colors 191037 (000s) impressions stood at the 8th, 9th and 10th places respectively.
